My journey started in 2004 at Axen, where I quickly moved from being a .Net developer to a role as a functional analyst. In those days I would often hear the mantra: « Do or undo, it’s still work. ». But for me, that simply wouldn’t cut it: whenever there was a problem, I was determined to get to the bottom of it and see what the best solution might be. I also longed for more human contact.
So I decided to make some changes: I started to read up more widely in my field, including the insights on requirements resourcing I found on http://www.volere.org. I talked with colleagues and I took a number of courses to round things out.
Very early on, I was leading a team of analysts on a complex project. And that’s where I started to pass on my knowledge and skills to others.
During my time at Axen, I also learned a lot about interpersonal relations, motivation at work, conflict resolution, brainstorming, and the Agile way of working and spirit.
At AXA, I was in charge of the business and functional analyst community to guide them towards a common practice based on recognized methods. As such, I participated in many Agile trainings to evaluate the possibilities of a transformation within the IT department.
In parallel, starting in 2013, I also started building up my knowledge and expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM). I mastered the SailPoint tools that had been chosen so I could be more effective as an analyst and take full advantage of what the tool had to offer.
I then moved into consulting so I could bring my expertise in IAM and SailPoint to other organizations.
I joined the National Bank of Belgium at the end of 2019 as a Service Management Analyst, working with ServiceNow.
Alongside my work as an IT Analyst, I’m also an art-therapist. Over the last 3 years or so, I have been expanding and developing these activities, to the point where I launched my own small business in early 2023. This way, I can combine a whole range of activities that are close to my heart.

Working with Alexiane was a great pleasure and satisfaction first of all because when she get an assignment you can be sure about the result she will deliver. Of course even if this quality can be found with other consultants, but not all, what makes Alexiane special regarding the other is the commitment, the creativity, the energy and the human values that she also brings into the team even under hard pressure.
